well my class mates all said good-bye to me and i really appreciated it and i hope everyone has a wonderful summer and i will really miss everyone! This year has been wonderful with all my friends and frenemys but in the end we all got along and id say that Ms.Hawkins has really encouraged me to write more than i have ever before. This year has been one of the best years in all of my school years. I cant wait until next year. I know that i have two teachers for next year and what ever teacher i get will defiantly be be an awesome teacher!

This is my Mayan and Aztec art project!

MAYAN'S
Mayans sometimes used art to reflect of their life style and culture! I infer that the Mayans might have done that because they wanted people in the future to see what they did and what they went through. Or maybe the Mayans just wanted to somehow express themselves in art by showing how they lived in paintings and statues.

The Mayans used hard limestone to make statues or other pieces of art.

AZTECS!

The Aztecs traded their art for other materials such as food and much more needed supplize.The aztecs had an appreciation for birds,insects,fish and animals so their art sometimes reflected on that.Aztec art and mayan art look simmalar to me but sometimes their art is created for differant reasons.
